What is an echocardiogram?
An echocardiogram, sometimes known as an echo, uses ultrasound to examine the heart. Using an echo we can see the structure of your heart and see how it is working. The echocardiogram gives a detailed scan of the heart and can find underlying heart abnormalities that an ECG can miss.
-
What is an ECG?
An electrocardiogram, known as an ECG, is a test used to check your heart’s rhythm and electrical activity.
We also provide modern wireless ECG monitoring for up to 7 days (Bardy Patch Monitor) to check for heart rhythm problems such as atrial fibrillation.
