You will receive a specialist report typically three to five days after your heart scan or health check, which can also be sent to your doctor.

Worried about the heart health check? The ECG and echocardiogram are pain-free and neither take longer than 30 minutes. You may bring a friend or relative to accompany you to the heart scan. You can also request a female operator or chaperone ahead of your appointment.

You can pay yourself, or if you have private medical insurance the cost could be covered by your insurer.
